Introduction to Selling & Telesales
The Strategic Business Solutions Introduction to Selling & Telesales workshop is designed to give new or inexperienced sales people the skills, confidence and the ability to control the sale/call and guide it in a positive direction to close potential customers. It is not enough just to give your team a contact list and tell them to get on with it - successful results in telephone sales are a by-product of successful telesales training.
Leadership and Team-Building
Can leadership really be learned? Assertiveness and Managing Conflict
Assertiveness skills don't come naturally to everyone, primarily because we have all been educated that passive behaviours should be used in confrontational situations. However these behaviours can be untrained and assertive behaviour used to produce results that benefit both parties. This workshop also covers effective use of non-verbal communication (body language) and vocal assertiveness.

What is Interim Management?
Interim Management is the cost-effective and temporary provision of management resources and skills. It can be seen as the short-term assignment of a proven Interim Executive level Manager to manage a project, period of transition, sudden departure of a Manager, crisis or change within an organisation where a permanent role or replacement may be unnecessary or impossible to find at short notice.
Is Interim Management an effective option for your company?
An Interim Manager will add value by utilising their skills and expertise to help deliver a conclusion, solution, service or alleviate risk - providing a meaningful Return on Investment to a business. An Interim Manager is objective, paid on the understanding of goals and objectives being performed and delivered, and not simply on the basis of attendance

What is Mentoring?
Mentoring is a relationship between two people – the "mentor" and the "mentee." A mentor will pass on valuable skills, knowledge and insights to you the mentee and can also help develop your career.
Mentoring is a powerful, personal development, support and empowerment tool. It is a valuable way of encouraging, guiding and facilitating people to manage their own learning so they may maximise their potential, increasingly develop their skills (leadership, management, sales, employee relations etc.), improve their performance and become the person they want to be.
A mentor will ‘challenge’ you to look at all aspects of your job or business, help you to determine how best to implement good ideas - and hopefully steer clear of bad ones! A mentor will assist you to develop your skills - but will not attempt to do your job for you!
Benefits of Mentoring
A Mentor will provide you with feedback, give you a ‘reality-check’ and act as a sounding-board for ideas, before you commit lots of time, money and effort – however, the ‘mentee’ is free to pick and choose what they do.
A mentor can help you assess your strengths and development areas in a safe environment, empower you to identify your own issues and goals, help you develop skills for success and offer guidance in creating a long-term career plan.
Mentoring can help you feel more confident and self-supporting. You will develop greater self-awareness and see the world, and yourself, as others do. Why Should I Have a Mentor?
Having a mentor is a very common component of the most successful individuals, having someone who will offer advice, guidance and the occasional ‘hard truth’ can often be the difference in developing a stable and successful career or business.
A mentor will never say “"I told you so”" when you make a mistake but always find a way to re-enforce their belief in you and encourage you to continuously improve your level of confidence and performance. Mentoring is not about changing what you do – it’s about changing how you think and how you approach the challenges of life, business and the pursuit of happiness.
In summary, your mentor has a deep personal interest, is personally involved and is a friend who cares about you and your long-term development.
Should My Line-Manager be my Mentor?
This is not always possible as a manager has key outputs that are needed to achieve a specific corporate result. It may also be difficult for your line-manager to be objective when it comes to business performance discussions.
Good mentor-mentee relationships are a two-way street; consequently if you want a good relationship with your mentor, become a good mentee. This requires a genuine interest in your mentor and a willingness to do what it takes to become successful.
